Clyde Woodworth Scholars are gaining 21st Century skills everyday!
Our scholars are being introduced to Science and Engineering at a young age. In their introduction to Engineering they work in teams on challenging projects while working with tools, equipment and software in the design process, technical sketch and drawing, and much more.
“Project Lead the Way” teaches our scholars engineering skills using equipment and design software to solve real-world problems including mechanism, strength of structures and materials, automation, and energy systems.
In our first challenge students are building pendulums to display potential vs kinetic energy.
Students build a car that will house an egg.
The car and egg will be involved in a crash.
The students will later design and method to keep the egg form breaking..
Follow us to see our progress this year!
